19. Construction Workflow - Field Reports (FR)
Field Reports are used by the architect or engineer to record field observations. You can attach photographs or sketches with your field reports.
Please refer to Project Setup and Administration to setup user rights for the Field Reports application. The FR module will not be shown until the initial setup is complete. |
To access the Field Report module: 1. Click the Field Report button under the Construction Mgmt tab. 2. The left-side menu for the Field Report module will display. |
Create a New Field Report
To create a new Field Report: 1. Click the Create new item link.
The Create New screen displays. |

2. Click in the Observation Date field to correct the date/time of the observations. 3. Optionally, enter an estimated percentage complete, weather conditions, and schedule information. 4. Complete the Work in Progress text area. |

5. Further
optional information you can record from your observations include: |

6. Add attachments by drag and drop, or you can click Browse to select files. |

7. Mark the check boxes for the users you want to receive an email notification.
8. Click the Save As Draft button to finalize later or the Save & Finalize button to finish. |
To view the Field Report log: 1. Click the All items link in the left-side menu. |

2. The Field Report log displays. 3. Field Reports are listed in a table format. 4. You can quickly view the FR Number, Submitted By, and Date Issued. |
To view the Field Report details, click the Observation Date link from the log page. |

The Field Report Detail page displays.
To open any attachments, click the Open link.
To view another Field Report, click the forward or backward buttons. |
